Introduction
PurpleBunny allows you to add tags, or keywords, to the web pages that you write comments about. For instance, for a web page about the online game Everquest, you can annotate the page with tags such as 'game', 'everquest', and 'mmorpg'. (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, for those of you who don't play such games).
Tags help you classify the web pages that you've commented on, to help with the organization and recall of these comments. You can pull up a list of tags that you've created. And you can see what tags other people have created.
The real power of tags come when everyone's tags are pooled together. When you annotate a web page with a tag, you can immediately see the list of web pages other users have tagged using the same tag. This provides an easy way to find other web pages related to the one you have just commented on.
Getting Started
It's easy to get started. When you are writing a comment for a web page, think of a few descriptive keywords you would use to categorize the web page, and enter it in the appropriate text box on the Enter Comment page.
