In comparing Google to the new chinese search engine Baidu (http://www.baidu.com), Baidu's search results seem to be somewhat different than Google's, with preference given to chinese documents as you would expect.
Baidu also seems slower, though it's hard to say if it's because their system is slower or because of network latency issues... |

At least in current situation, I do same thinking of that Baidu is slower because it's just beginning, and need more time to do depend on how they are profesion, and how the government control them as like MSN to not exceed the rule.  |

| Baidu is restricted by many factors, but one advantage is that you can use mp3.baidu.com to search and then download free mp3 music. |

| Google is the coolest search tool in all history. It has helped me on numerous projects. The only problem I've had with it is there being too many search returns. I can't stop myself from reading them all! |
